Our coffee and espresso are roasted in Concord, Ontario, 40 minutes from our shop, by Classic Gourmet, better known as Rufino Espresso. Our roaster is dedicated to ethically sourced beans, as well as sustainable practices in their roasting, which has allowed them to become nationally and world renowned. They choose to pay higher than market prices for their beans to support the farmers and industry. Additionally, Classic Gourmet’s roasting facilities are powered with 100% renewable energies through Bullfrog Power, as well as their unique roasters reduce their emissions by 77% compared to conventional systems.
